Following are some of the new launches taking place across the world.
Market players have been launching innovative solutions to improve their service and performance. Farnek, one of the leading smart facilities management (FM) firm, launched new smart fleet management solution to optimize the performance of transport fleet and delivery. The UAE-based company developed an in-house technology for its entire fleet of more than 300 buses, vans, and cars. Following an extensive research and development activity, the firm adopted and adapted the smart technology for its fleet.
Javeria Aijaz, the Director of Technology & Innovation at Farnek, outlined that company’s IT engineers developed its new telematics system with the help of the proven technology. It is a cloud- and mobility-based solution that is powered by the IoT sensors. These sensors are in sync with Google Maps to carry out route optimization. It has been developed by taking its fleet, drivers, service schedule, and customers into consideration. The IoT sensor will be installed in each vehicle to track the vehicle, monitor status of ignition, gain speed alerts, and sending notifications in real time. This system has been designed to improve the drivers’ performance, save fuel, and provide better service than before.
Riding on the trend of launching new products, one of the leading companies in the e-Navigation sector developed and launched its innovative product. NAVTOR launched NavFleet, which is an application developed over a couple of years by collaborating with ship owners. The solution is designed to offer optimization in performance, real-time operational insights, and improved business decision making capabilities. Tor Svanes, the CEO at NAVTOR, outlined that the new product beholds “a future of efficiency, performance, intelligence, and cost control” for fleet owners of different sizes and segments.
