This system, developed using the company’s global hydrogen center in Dresden, comes with a dry-running compressor solution that allows oil-free compression up to high pressure without causing component wear and gas contamination. 

The key advancement lies in its ability to reduce maintenance requirements while providing a safe and efficient solution for hydrogen applications. The design reportedly achieves performance levels suitable for demanding applications, including hydrogen refueling stations and transport systems. With industries focusing more on hydrogen as a key energy source, compressor technology is evolving to meet their changing needs.
