ABB introduced its modular induction motor, AMI 5800 NEMA in June 2023.  This latest generation is designed to deliver outstanding reliability and energy efficiency in challenging applications such as compressors, pumps, extruders, fans, crushers, and conveyors. With a power output capacity of up to 1750 HP, the AMI 5800 provides a high level of modularity and customization, making it suitable for both new construction and upgrade projects across various industries, including chemical, oil, and gas.

The AMI 5800 motor showcases ABB’s technological leadership in the North American market by meeting both electrical performance and mechanical mounting standards. A notable feature of this motor is its high strength welded steel frame.

Linear Labs commenced electric motor production at its new advanced manufacturing facility in March 2022

Linear Labs, an advanced energy company, began production of its latest High Torque and Ultra High-Efficiency electric motor, along with a new intelligent drive system called the HET Light. This launch addresses the growing demand in the light EV industry. The production launch features two models, namely the HET Light 45 and the HET Light 30 Series. The patented electrification system in these models delivers twice the torque and higher efficiency compared to all other LEV motors in the industry.
