Opening of New Family/indoor Entertainment Centers in the U.K. Speeds Up

Government initiatives are aimed at offering grants for companies to open entertainment centers in rural areas. Market players have been partnering with producers of popular TV game shows to bring those shows live for fans. Some of the cities in the U.K. will feature these live game shows in the coming years. According to the report published by Allied Market Research, the family/indoor entertainment centers market in the U.K. is estimated to reach $1.75 billion by 2027. Following are some of the activities taking place in the country.

Market players have been opening their indoor entertainment centers in the country to attract families and children. Sunnyside Adventure Play, a new indoor adventure play area has been opened in Leicestershire. The owners highlighted that this is the largest indoor adventure area in Leicestershire. The five-floor play area contains more than 100 features for play, and is suitable for children up to the age of 12 years. In addition, there is a separate play frame for children and toddlers. The features include drop slides, a spiral slide, ball showers, blaster cannons, tunnels, cargo nets, a self-contained football pitch, and others.

Sunnyside Adventure, a family entertainment center, is expected to feature The Secret Garden, 18-hole adventure golf course, and casual dining restaurant named The Potting Shed. Alan Ginn, the Managing Director of the family entertainment center, outlined that the company opened the center that would appeal the people of all ages. Following thorough research and development, the company received the part of funding from the rural development grant scheme. Along with creating an entertainment center, the company aims to offer employment opportunities.

The trend of launching new entertainment centers continues with new indoor ITV game show in Manchester. The Cube Live has become a live attraction in Manchester Arndale center. It has been opened in an entertainment complex Urban Playground. The Cube features seven different challenges for individuals and groups. For the first time, the producers presented the live experience of The Cube. The group of 2-4 members can play the games with Perspex boxes. Urban Playground partnered with the producers of The Cube, Objective Media Group. The partnership led to bringing the show live for its fans. Seven iconic games, which include for both single and multiple players, from the original TV series have been featured in the live center. Manchester became the first city for Urban Playground to build attractions for families. However, investors are trying to expand into other cities across the U.K. The expansion plans will lead to increased presence and rise in profitability.
