Market players have been adopting expansion strategies to gain international presence and raise their stake in the market. Polygiene acquired Addmaster in a deal worth £33 million. Addmaster has been the global supplier for antimicrobial additives and Polygiene’s supplier from the past 12 years. The acquisition would help in brining Addamster’s expertise in antimicrobial technologies on hard surfaces with the reputation of Polygiene in odor control and antiviral solutions in the textile industry. Polygiene renewed the lease on the Stafford firm’s head office and outlined the intensions to invest in the U.K.

Commenting on the acquisition, Paul Morris, the Founder at Addamaster, highlighted that this deal offers a financial backing to the business along with global resources required to optimize its products. With the demand for antimicrobial products on the rise following the pandemic, both companies decided to join forces and cater to demands of products and textiles that provide hygienic protection. Apart from financial benefits, this deal offers additional reach and experts on both polymer and textile applications to its clients.

Along with acquisition, companies have been forming strategic partnerships to emphasize on each other’s expertise and achieve growth for both. SANITIZED and CHEMLOGIS have joined forces to form a strategic partnership. Both companies have been focused on providing customer-oriented and innovative solutions to its customers. CHEMLOGIS developed antimicrobial additives to offer a new overall package to the polymers industry for hygiene function and material protection. SANITIZED would support the development and production activities, regulatory concerns, and marketing with the help of its brand. The polymers industry can be benefitted from antimicrobial additive in flooring, artificial leather, industrial coatings, pool liners, roof membranes, tarpaulins, and all extruded products.

Ing. León Freiman K, the Chief Executive Officer at CHEMLOGIS highlighted that the partnership with SANITIZED would help in the sale of its antimicrobial products to polymer processors in Mexico. They plant to bring a highly focused approach for requirements of customers in terms of technology service and products.
